We covered each of these components using a co-working business as a practice round. This was a nice way to ease into the ideation process and to better understand what each concept within service design requires.
When it was time for us to shift the focus to Up Speak I started rapid fire explaining some of the big questions that still need fine-tuning regarding how Up Speak groups are formed, conducted, and focused. Nicole actively listened and wrote out all the big themes and questions that emerged. Three hours after we had started in on our service design workshop, I left with a set of core questions I need to address as well as the realization that I could feasibly spend an entire day workshopping each individual service design component.
While a service can and likely will change over time, dedicating time and attention to these considerations now felt incredibly necessary. It was also really fun to do with someone who was such a good listener and enthusiastic contributor. Thank you Nicole!
